Mike Bell
Rice Lake, WI
Banner Title: Affliction
Mike is the owner and resident artist of Barron
County Tattoo. Naturally, he drew inspiration for this banner from

Lisa Carey-Braun
Cameron, WIBanner Title: Rice Lake Red-Wing
“My favorite medium to work in is graphite or colored pencil, however,
being an art teacher has helped me appreciate many other artistic media. I
participated in this project because it made me work on something outside
of the classroom while giving me an opportunity to help with a worthwhile
project. Thanks to Mary & Rick Vesper for suggesting I participate!”

Peter Davidson
Rice Lake, WIBanner Title: Gene’s Machine
“Though I don’t ride motorcycles, I’ve always been drawn to the
intricate sculpture incorporated into their design, from body to motor.
This painting gave me a chance to study this and try to convey that
controlled power.” Peter enjoys sculpture and the chance to contribute to
a “great community project”. |

Teresa Davis-Evenson
Chetek, WIBanner Title: Auroraphobia
After contributing to last year’s ArtScape installment, Teresa has
returned with her creative talents. She said, ”I have always been inspired
by the beauty in my own backyard. Because of rheumatoid arthritis, I have
considered moving to a warmer, dryer climate. My painting was inspired by
thoughts of what I would miss if I did relocate someday… along with a
crazy past ‘auroraphobia’ or fear of northern lights.” Teresa enjoys
sculpting, collage, pencil drawing, gardening and decorating. |
