Megan is ten years old and in fifth grade. She enjoys drawing and inventing “new ways to have fun”. This piece is Megan’s tribute to her family’s dog, Jack, who has passed away.

As I watch them soar over the land, it is as if they are watching over me. Their proud stature is amazing.”

Calvin participated in the ArtScape project saying, “I thought it would be fun to work on since I’ve never done a project like this before. I’ve been interested in art since I was very young, but I’ve never had the impulse to try painting. This is the second painting I ever enjoyed looking at. It is both calm and ferocious; I am fascinated with the effects of water."
