Angela Delf
Rice Lake, WIBanner Title: Sailing
“One of the first community events my husband and I attended when we
moved to Rice Lake about a year ago was the ArtScape unveiling. I am
excited to be a part of the project this year. My husband and I each did a
painting and we had fun working on this together. A photo reminded me of
the fun I had sailing… the wind in your face, the water splashing back at
you, the sun… great memories!” |

Jonathon Delf
Rice Lake, WIBanner Title: Essence of Fall
“My wife and I enjoyed painting our pictures together during relaxing
evenings at home. We have fallen in love with the beauty of Rice Lake. My
job as a dentist at Arrowhead Family Dental allows me to use my artistic
talent to help people. I love working with my hands and enjoyed
contributing this artwork.” |

Corey Dorrance
Rice Lake, WIBanner Title: Where Have All the Seasons Gone?
Artist Corey Dorrance has returned “to support downtown and the
community of Rice Lake” through the ArtScape on Main project. This
painting stemmed from “all the recent discussions and revelations of
global warming, along with the weirdly unpredictable weather this past
year. [It has] made me yearn for a typical change of seasons!” |

Nancy Erickson-Dutmer
Chetek, WIBanner Title: Ojibwa of Rice Lake
Nancy comes from a long line of artists who have enjoyed vacationing in
Rice Lake since 1908. She reminisces, “I remember seeing Native Americans
and their teepees on the road as we traveled up here. I was always
fascinated by them and I would dress up in Indian costume and play in the
woods when I was a child.” This painting is her tribute to the Chippewa
and Ojibwa who lived here before us, who worked the rice fields, and who
are buried in the mounds that sit by Rice Lake.
