Andy Forcey
Rice Lake, WIBanner Title: Bitter Living through Brain Chemistry
Returning ArtScape contributor Andy Forcey drew inspiration for his
piece from living with mental disorders, the wonders of nature, and China.
“Sometimes the disarray of the world is more obvious. And sometimes we’re
blessed to see how much life and order still exists in that mess.” The
Chinese words translate as Distress, Social Anxiety Disorder, Worry, and
Andy. Thanks to Zuo Ming Ying for her help with translation!

Jenna Forcey
Rice Lake, WIBanner Title: Dusk’s Opus
“One of my favorite parts of driving is when I get to see the sun set
against a silhouette of trees. I recently saw one that was just glowing
pink. It has stuck in my head ever since. I’m glad I got to…share a piece
of that sunset.” |

Heather H. Haller
Rice Lake, WIBanner Title: Just One More Cup
“My passions are art and coffee! I spend most of my day drinking coffee
because I’m the owner and operator of Badger Brew Express. I wanted to
show the need for one more cup in my painting. I wanted to keep the colors
simple using only a burnt umber and white to give the effect of the coffee
color, bringing everything together and all about coffee. Happy sipping!” |

Megan Harding
Rice Lake, WIBanner Title: Blossom
Cumberland freshman Megan Harding works in many artistic mediums
including watercolor, colored pencil, and acrylic. The concept for this
art banner came from an old postcard that jumped out at her. She said, “I
get most of my inspiration from nature and try to capture it in layers… I
really want to get my art out there, so I can, hopefully, start my journey
with paints professionally.”
