Banner Title: Montanis Mirror

I was inspired by a photo taken by our son, Bruce, for my painting. It was so beautiful. I had to paint it. Because it was a local photo, I thought it would be a good subject for a banner. Painting for ArtScape is getting to be a habit.

Banner Title: Celebrate Life

I am the mother of two teenagers and the wife of one cable guy. Celebrate Life is one in a long line of faceless dancing women that I have painted over the past four or five years. Combine the bright colors of a gumball machine, a desire to show her unique creativity and the result is a sweet work of art by 7th grade student Gabby Ashlin. The sunset in the background shows how color and beauty surround the earth.

This painting commemorates the work of a semi-famous pet Madagascan giant hissing cockroach that taught a small nation of people how to text message on their mobile phones and afterward returned to life as a pet. Thank you, Princess Lala.
