LuAnne Mosansky-Rice Lake
Fanciful Felines
I have real sense of pride about this city. It's fantastic to paint
for this project. LuAnne, a Rice Lake native, spends her free time
painting, writing, gardening and re-purposing items to brighten up her
neighborhood. |

Rachel Murphy-Sarona
Simple Beauty
Does the post office alley inspire you? Rachel thinks it’s visually
cool. She has worked in oils for many years, but lately has been doing
caricatures and illustrations on the computer. I find it fascinating to
be working with one of the oldest mediums, oil painting, and one of the
newest, digital painting. See more of her work at

Daniel Nesseth-Barron
The Gnarled Gateway
Daniel possesses a keen interest in nature and all its beauty. Raised
in the country, Daniel began his artistic career at a very young age,
drawing on any available surface, including church bulletins. I was the
recipient of the 2008 ArtScape scholarship and admire what the Main Street
Association is doing. The style of Alan Lee and Arthur Rackham inspire me.
Life is full of snares and snags, but there is always light at the end of
the tunnel. |
