Judith A. Markgren
Rice Lake
By the Fence
Surrounded by artwork growing up, and with an ample supply of crayons,
paints, paper, and clay, Judith got an early start in the world of art.
Today, art is a part of who she is. Flowers are another interest; her
gardens supply her with color from spring through fall and provide
subjects for some of her paintings. |

Nancy Erickson Dutmer
Chetek
Tiger Lily
Nancy is a part of several generations of artists dating back to her
great-grandmother. She also sings, dances, acts, choreographs, sews, and
does beading and tile work. She recently worked on a Peter Pan production
in Minnesota and there found inspiration for 'Tiger Lily'. |

Tony Hullett
Rice Lake
To Open Water
Beginning as a small boy, Tony sketched dinosaurs on his grandmother's
floor. He also spent years playing 'Dungeons and Dragons' which spawned a
life-long interest in art. A pencil drawing he did in high school inspired
'To Open Water'. |

Dennis Fredrickson
Rice Lake
Clear Sailing
This husband, father, and grandfather enjoys archery, hunting,
fly-fishing, bluegrass music, and painting 'not necessarily in that
order'. Other hobbies include fly-tying, making his own arrows, and plans
to build a longbow. The thought of sailing with no sounds but he wind and
waves provided the subject for this painting. |
